Easter is not too far away and I’m feeling good that it is coming
We have a few traditions in our household at Easter including dyeing our own eggs, making our own chocolate gifts (check out my 15 great chocolate recipes), joining in on a family Easter egg hunt and attending church. We also used to travel every year to the Bendigo Easter Fair which includes an amazing street parade, egg hunt, carnival, torch light procession and the Awakening of the Dragon Ceremony.
These days we are also inclined to join in the Aussie tradition of camping over the Easter period. Highlights from last years camping trip included cooking over an outdoor fire, church on the beach, sharing Easter treats and a weird but wonderful egg throwing game between parents and children.
I have wiled away some of my weekend looking at the beautiful Williams Sonoma catalogue and making plans for my Easter baking this year. Here are some of my favourite finds from the Eat My Street affiliate partners.
Look at this fun and gorgeous set of three Easter themed pancake moulds.
Or how about a beautiful bunny shaped cakelet tins to take your cake baking somewhere new.
I have a date with a lovely 6 year old to attend the new Peter Rabbit movie when it is released in a few weeks.
I adore Peter Rabbit.
I am toying with the idea of taking a break from every day meal prep over the Easter holidays. In lieu of hiring a butler or chef I thought this family meal kit might help .
Marley Spoon will deliver it to your home which means you can literally not leave the couch for a full day!
My idea of peace and happiness is a day spent reading so while I am there I quite fancy the look of this book.
This next one is obvious right? Reading all day will definitely require tea. How cute is this egg shaped “tea egg” for brewing endless cups of the good stuff?
Finally, not Easter themed at all, but something beautiful that caught my eye. Check out this gorgeous cactus glassware. Adore.
For more beautiful Easter products take a look at the Williams Sonoma website.
