Ok, so who did something fun last weekend?

I visited the Warrandyte Market and had brunch at the very refined Altair Restaurant. I also watched Lion at the Cinema and cried my little eyes out.

This weekend is looking even better.

What's On for Foodies in MelbourneThe Cape Kitchen is hosting a weekend pop up Dinner and Masterclass by the sea with Executive Chef Kevin Jarrett.

The Donut Fest Melbourne is here and it is guaranteed to be delicious. 557 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne.

Why not try the Port Phillip Mussel and Jazz Festival? Sangria, paella, beer and ice-cream, this is  street party not to be missed.  South Melbourne Market.

Bayside Food Truck Festival incorporating the Espresso Martini Beach Fiesta and the Ice-cream Beach Fiesta. March 9-13. South Beach Reserve. St Kilda.

Sweet Lane Festival. Harbour Town. 9th-13th of March. Sweets, cooking demonstrations, food trucks and a Australian Grand Prix fan zone.

Big Burger Biannual. March 13th, St Kilda East. 11am onward. 13th of March, a line up of Melbourne’s best burgers all in one place.

The Turkish Pazar Festival at Queen Victoria Market. Turkish food, music, arts and crafts. 12th of March, 9am to 4pm.

Bacchus Marsh Harvest Festival. 12th of March. 9.30 – 4pm. The annual Harvest Festival with fresh apples, pears and quinces and an opportunity to tour farms, meet the makers and pick your own fruit.

Rob Dolan Wines is hosting a Friday Night Drinks event at their cellar door in Warrandyte South with cheese, tunes and treats from The Farm Yarra Valley. 10th of March. 5pm.

Moomba. Free fun in the city. Karen Martini and Guy Grossi are our King and Queen this year!  10th-13th of March.

Cafe & Restaurant Openings.

Wonton House Glen Waverley are having a grand opening and are giving away free noodles to their first 50 customers. 11th of March.

A new Lindt Chocolate Shop is opening its doors on Friday 10th of March and they are giving away free chocolate to the first 100 customers each day. Lindt Chocolate Shop, Spencer Street Outlet. 201 Spencer Street, Docklands.
