I was recently given the opportunity to trial the genius wine choosing/ buying/ delivering powers behind the very successful Vinomofo.
Vinomofo is a gorgeous little wine buying outfit based here in Melbourne, that was originally started in the garage of two brother-in-laws obsessed with good wine.
Vinomofo work directly with the best producers in the world to find the wines they love, and curate them to their customers taste. The two lovely bottles of white wine that were delivered to my door- yes I did say delivered! Yippee! were Australian made white wines from the Claire Valley and Yarra Valley respectively. I love trying local Aussie wines and these are two of my favourite regions so I was very pleased with the selection.
The most exciting thing for me is that someone else choses the wine based on my preferences, and I just get to try it.
Yes, no more standing staring at the wine fridge wondering wether or not I should really be so easily tempted by gorgeous wine labels. YeHaa!
Vinomofo is built upon the idea of “bringing good wine to the normals, not just the wine snobs”. In this instance they have really hit the mark. I loved having the wine chosen for me and I really loved having it delivered to my door. I was also extremely charmed by the story behind this little Australian, family-run business.
